Our Combined Package (White Card + Owner Builder Courses) is designed for individuals who have at least very basic experience in using computers and the internet, and wish to complete both courses in as little time as possible.
With our online Owner Builder Course, you will have unlimited access to the online course materials, you can stop and restart the course as you please, you will receive instant ‘real time’ results for most questions, and the assessment only pathway can be completed in a number of hours. Upon successful completion of the Course, your Certificate will be instantly generated online for you to immediately access and download.
IMPORTANT:The White Card Course is a mandatory safety course covering basic areas of work health and safety in the construction industry. Service NSW will not issue you with an Owner Builder Permit unless you have completed the White Card Course and can produce a White Card (or NSW White Card Seminar certificate) as well as the Owner Builder Course certificate that we issue you with.
In NSW, the White Card Course can only be completed by undergoing a one day face to face seminar or a virtual seminar (see below) with an approved provider – self-paced online White Card courses are no longer permitted. We can offer the face to face White Card seminar in the locations below, or by virtual seminar:
VIRTUAL SEMINARS: Virtual White Card Seminars are permitted in NSW, and this allows you to connect into a live Virtual Seminar and complete the White Card Course from home using a computer with internet access and a webcam.
If you choose to undergo the White Card Course by Virtual Seminar, you will need a computer with internet access and a webcam, as well as a hard hat, eye and ear protection, a dust mask and a high-viz safety vest at the time of the Virtual Seminar (you can purchase these items from Bunnings). You will also need to be physically in NSW at the time of undergoing the virtual seminar.
If you select the Virtual Seminar option, we will place you into a session with our training partner on a date selected by you, and the Virtual Seminar option will incur an additional $64 fee. Virtual Seminars are generally run every day of the week except for Sundays.
The bundle covers both courses you need for your NSW owner builder permit: the online, self-paced NSW Owner Builder Course, and the White Card Course (CPCWHS1001) completed via a one-day face-to-face seminar at one of 9 locations across Sydney and NSW, or a live virtual seminar from home.

No. Self-paced online White Card courses are no longer permitted in NSW. You can complete the White Card Course either by a one-day face-to-face seminar or by a live virtual seminar using a computer with internet access and a webcam.
The NSW Owner Builder Course is self-paced and completed online — most students complete the assessment pathway in a number of hours, in one or multiple sittings. The White Card is a one-day seminar, with seminars running on weekdays and some weekends at 9 locations across Sydney and NSW.
Your Owner Builder Course certificate is instantly generated online upon successful completion, and your White Card is issued immediately upon completion of your seminar. Our fee includes the $34 charged by SafeWork to issue the White Card.
The NSW Owner Builder Course + White Card bundle is $394 — discounted compared to enrolling in the NSW Owner Builder Course and White Card separately.
