• A student who registers to complete any course with our organisation will have the protection of all applicable rights as a consumer under consumer laws that apply to their state or territory.
  • The applicable course fees are payable upon registration, and a refund will not be available where the student chooses not to proceed with undergoing a course for any reason.
  • If a student is ready, willing and able to receive an agreed service, and we nevertheless fail to provide that service (by either failing to make an online course available to a student for a period of no less than 30 days, or by failing to have a face to face seminar available in any advertised location for a period of no less than 90 days), then we will provide the student with a refund of the course fee that relates to that agreed service.  This term is not applicable in circumstances where the student is not willing to and / or chooses not to receive an agreed service for any reason.
  • A student will have 12 months from the date of paying the course fees to successfully complete all requirements that relate to their selected course(s), and if a student has not done so within that time period, the student will be deemed to have discontinued that course (or those courses), and any course fees paid by the student will be forfeited.
  • If a student has selected a location and / or date to complete a face to face or virtual White Card Seminar, and the student is not permitted to sit the Seminar due to lateness in attending, or the student fails to attend / participate in the Seminar for any reason, the student will forfeit the course fee for that Seminar. If the student wishes to change their selected Seminar date and / or location, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee, the amount which will depend on when the date change request was made and if a third party provider was involved.
  • A student’s eligibility to obtain an Owner Builder Permit in their state will depend on their type of project and / or the issuance of any prior Permits, and given such, each student must make their own enquiries with the regulator in their state in relation to their eligibility, and we do not guarantee that a student will be eligible to obtain a Permit for the above reasons.
  • We own the absolute copyright in all assessment tools that are made available to a student, and such assessment tools can only be used by that student for the sole purpose of completing our course(s).
  • If a student is entitled to free legal guidance, that entitlement will commence on the date the student first creates an online Course Account, and will end six (6) months later. Any legal guidance provided will be limited to 30 minutes and will only relate to the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW).
  • Upon registration, you agree to receive emails from us in relation to the course, as well as any products and services in connection with you being an owner builder. Please note that you are able to unsubscribe from any automated marketing emails.
